Eagle scout Project benefitting Colonial IU20
The Project Overview
Hello, my name is Brody Muthard and I thank you for visiting my webpage. I really appreciate your interest in my Eagle Scout Project to benefit the Early Intervention Program at Colonial IU20. I am looking to provide an outdoor learning center at Colonial I.U. 20 Early Intervention Program at 3144 Linden Street, Bethlehem PA 18017. The center has moved to a new, more convenient location, but has a less than inviting outdoor space.
I have proposed a large project to provide two features outside of the Autistic Support Classrooms. I am looking to build a wooden train feature from professional plans, with benches surrounding. I will also install a Lifetime Playset with sensory walkways that connect the play areas to the classrooms. My budget is over $9,000, with the majority of the budget being the cost of rubber mulch and the Lifetime Playset, but these are items that I am not willing to compromise for sake of cost because I want to provide Colonial IU 20 an outdoor learning space that is as maintenance-free as possible. I am also not willing to compromise on inferior materials. I am proudly using American made products and supporting local small businesses, such as A.D. Moyer Lumber, Inc.
